Ran across this article on Mashable earlier in the week, and while it’s not directly talking about packaging (but having close ties), it does speak to total sheer importance of customers and their need to fall in the LOVE with a brand for their to be any sort of loyalty. We’ve definitely talked about that several times here on the site, and completely believe that it’s true.

I love #2: ‘Fix Up – Look Sharp’. Packaging in any form (e.g., website, as mentioned here) can be associated with this one, and again – visual is so important in the process of whether a customer decides to make a purchase–initial or repeat–of a product.
